I may be a couple days behind, but I've reached the halfway point of my novel.
25,000 words. 52 pages, single-spaced. 12 days left.
In honor of Halfway Day, I've composed the following list, just in case you decide to try NaNoWriMo next year.
1. When people ask how you're doing, your first instinct is to respond with your current word count
2. You stay up til 2 AM writing, because the voices just won't stop
3. You literally feel carpal tunnel setting in
4. You've listened to your entire iTunes library. Twice.
5. You accidentally start calling your roommates by your main characters' names
6. Your diet consists of things that can be eaten at a desk without risk of damaging your laptop
7. "You begin thinking in third person," she typed, pensively pondering over what to type for #8
